Camp gone wrong
While me and Harriet were tramping up to sunrise hut we were at the back of the class.When we were we walking we saw a baby wild piglet, it was right down the cliff so me and Harriet went to touch it and we slipped down the steep, rocky cliff.
So the story begins...
Where am I, where is the class, most importantly where am I. I look to my side and see Harriet I said to myself at least I still have Harriet, we make a great team. Now I say to myself lets find a shelter.
Let’s use a map of the forest,track where we were before and find where you are now.There we are right in the middle of nowhere, no one will ever find us now.Now let’s find the nearest track and the closest way out.Don’t let that little baby pig distract you. Let’s focus on finding a tree to rest in and sleep in for the night.
So I ask Harriet ‘’what about this tree it’s high and it looks like it has good shelter’’ she said ’’it does look like great shelter’’.I said ’’I will set off to look for some wood and can you find some big leaves.Then we meet I have got some sticks, strong thick sticks.’’Harriet have you got big leaves’’ I say and she said’’yep’’so I bring them back.‘’It’s getting dark’’I said, ‘’we better hurry back’’. Harriet said ‘’We better get started then’’.We start to yell out’’Help, help is anybody out there please help us we really need your help, Harriet and I are starving out here.
I say ’’look at this tree it is high and it looks like good shelter We just need to add some sticks that I have got and then find some sticky sap and stick the leaves together for a blanket. I will climb this tree first but I can’t climb it, it to hard because it is to thick. I say to Harriet, “ill you get my rope,it’s in my bag. Harriet throws it up and it lands on a strong branch. I climb and while I am climbing I can hear some cracking it sounds like a branch but where, where could it be. As I slowly look up the crack is getting louder as soon as I look I can see the branch I am using and it is breaking. So I go back as fast as I can and yell ‘’the branch is breaking’’but it is too late I fall to the depths of the forest, and it seems as if everything is in slow motion. I hear a faint yell of Harriet saying ’’GEORGIA’’...
Don’t quit on me’’.Your bag where is the bag there it is, is there a first aid kit theres gotta be a first aid kit I pull out a Rope, two Rain coats, Pocket Knife, Water and food, Whistle, Map of the Ruahine Forest and there it is a First aid kit.I wake up I see Big and bold beech trees, Turquoise blue rivers, Tues and fantails chirping a song, the moss eating the forest floor, The squishy mud swamp traverse up the hill then I start to go sleepy very sleepy I yell out help ,help help ,help ,help ,help... but no one could hear not even harriet…
As I wake up I look to my leg it is tattered and torn with a bandage around it but where's Harriet I look up she is in a smaller tree much easier to climb.I try to yell out to Harriet she looks at me and says ‘‘Georgia is that you I it is,guess what I used the leaves and some berries I put the leaves on the top of the tree and put the berries on them spelling SOS and it look like there is something coming in the dictines I also think the class has called a search party were getting out of here.
I stand up with some sticks I used as crunchies and say ‘’what’s that growling sound it’s sounds like it is there ‘’I can hear it to, try to come up here’’ ‘’but I can’t’’
‘’is the plane here yet’’ ‘’very close’’’ ‘’Harriet I am scared’’ guess what the plane is here it is landing down there down a step, step step clife.’’I will take that risk’’ ‘’ no Georgia you will hurt your self’’ ‘’to late CANNIBAL!!!!’’ ‘’later Harriet comes down she is riding one of the big leaves she got.We meet we walk to the plane and ask for a ride back he says ‘’ticket please’’ ‘’but we don't have a ticket we are stranded please let us in’’ ‘’sorry ladies not this time’’.
Later we see a big group of people running to the plane with tickets we said ‘’where did you come from’’ ‘’down there man follow the track’’ ‘’so we set off Harriet says my crunchies are still fresh do you want one ‘’no I am fine thanks I wouldn't even be able to hold it ‘’wait a minute what's in you bag what’s that glowing’’ ‘’ I forgot I have the MUSIC MAKER 1000!!!! ‘’dont yell Georgia‘’ ‘’now Harriet get my music maker thanks now do your magic♪♫♪♫♫♩♬♪ there plane tickets lets go’’ ‘’we make just in time her are our tickets’’ ‘’Harriet were going home’’ ‘’YAY says Harriet’’.Then I say ‘’Harriet you were a good friend thank you so much for everything’’.
